Be prepared for your first day with the WVDOT by bringing the documents below.
Bring the following to orientation:
Medical (PEIA), Life, Vision, Dental, Disability, Legal, etc.
Public Employees Retirement System pension & optional WV Retirement Plus 457 Plan
After 3+ years of service, employees receive annual increment pay equal to $60 per full year of service.
Annual (vacation) and sick leave are accrued each pay period (amount depends on years of service).
Twelve paid holidays per year.
